A cast of over 60 young actors are preparing to present the ever popular and highly entertaining musical, Hairspray.

After months of rehearsals, students from Year 7 to Sixth Form will be taking to the stage at the beginning of April.

Richard Smith, head of drama at Friends’ School, said: “The opportunity was given to every student to be part of this brilliant show, whether it was part of the cast, chorus or crew. Everyone involved in the drama, music and dance departments have worked incredibly hard and we are all now looking forward to opening night.”

The show is on April 1, 2 and 3 in Friends’ School Assembly Hall at 7pm. Tickets are available from the school’s reception.
