It was Red Letter Day for the Rotary Club of Saffron Walden last Wednesday with the visit of Rotarian Peter Offer who is president of Rotary in the whole of the UK and Ireland. Also present was the district governor Nigel Neville and the immediate past district governor Bill Redmayne. Club president Glynn Goodwin and the other Rotarians of Saffron Walden were congratulated on their club, both numerically and the amount of cash they have raised for local, national and international charities.
