Saffron Dance Band available for charity events
A DANCE band leader is urging charities to book the group for events this year.
Saffron Dance Band is a non-profit making organisation and traditionally plays for a local charity each year.
Band leader Vic Gunn said: “We wish that tradition to continue and I ask that local charities contact me if they wish to organise an event with the band.
“The 16-piece band plays in dance tempos for ballroom and Latin American dancing for events such as formal functions, tea dances or dinner dances or concerts, fetes and garden parties.”
Last year’s events included formal functions, a 40s afternoon, a charity fete, church garden party and the Saffron Walden Arts Trust Concert in Bridge End Garden.
