TO commemorate Remembrance Day, Saffron Screen will be showing Battle of Britain on Sunday November 14 at 4.30pm.
The film, rated PG, is a stirring war movie depicting the RAF’s desperate fight to save Britain from invasion by the Germans. With Trevor Howard, Michael Caine, Laurence Olivier and Christopher Plummer, this film also features a number of aerial sequences shot at Duxford.
The classic matinee performance provides a rare opportunity to see the Heinkel bombers and dogfighting Spitfires on the big screen – as they were meant to be enjoyed
