TO commemorate Remembrance Day, Saffron Screen will be showing Battle of Britain on Sunday November 14 at 4.30pm.

The film, rated PG, is a stirring war movie depicting the RAF’s desperate fight to save Britain from invasion by the Germans. With Trevor Howard, Michael Caine, Laurence Olivier and Christopher Plummer, this film also features a number of aerial sequences shot at Duxford.

The classic matinee performance provides a rare opportunity to see the Heinkel bombers and dogfighting Spitfires on the big screen – as they were meant to be enjoyed

Tickets are: Adults £6, Adult Concession £4, 18 and under £3.50. Tickets and further information for all films are available online at, from the Tourist Information Centre in Saffron Walden, or at the box office.
