A ladder and a lawn scarifier were stolen from a shed in Wethersfield.

Thieves smashed open the shed in the Saffron Gardens home between 8am on January 29 and 3pm on the following day.

Vandals have damaged a fence panel in Frambury Lane, Newport.

The rear garden bamboo panel was damaged overnight on January 30.

Cash was stolen from a High Street property.

Thieves broke into the Saffron Walden property overnight on January 20 by breaking a window at the rear.

They opened and went through a cabinet on the ground floor before going upstairs and opening another cabinet and removed a cash box from inside. The box contained £60.

It is thought the burglars disabled the alarm to the building.

A Ferrari had its number plates stolen about 2pm on Tuesday, February 2.

The black sportscar was parked on Station Road, Takeley.

Registration plates from a Kia Ceed were also taken overnight on February 4.

The car was parked in Windmill Close, Dunmow.

Thieves broke into a building site in Parsonage Downs, Great Dunmow, overnight on February 3.

The site’s bolted fence locks were forced open and the burglars targeted an office, conducting a tidy search, and stealing a laser level.

They then forced their way into a toilet block and removed keys for plant machinery, which were found later.

Tools and a wallet were stolen from a Ford Transit van parked in Rochford Close, Stansted.

Thieves left no damage to the van’s locks or doors. The rear doors were pushed to, but not shut.

A spare wheel was stolen from a vehicle in Great Easton.

The thieves cut the winch holding the wheel underneath the black Land Rover Discovery to access the spare.
