A variety of jewellery items were stolen from a property off Chatsworth Avenue, Great Notley, between October 13 and October 22. Thieves smashed the back patio doors with an unknown implement to gain entry.

Thieves gained entry to a property on Wethersfield Road, Finchingfield between 10am and 7.30pm on October 24 by smashing the back window. Cash and jewellery was taken from inside.

A variety of tools, including a cut-off saw, angle grinder, electrician’s equipment, tool box and diesel can, were stolen from from a yard in Wethersfield Road, Finchingfield overnight on October 29.

Damage was caused to the wing mirror of a red VW Golf, which was parked on Castle Street, Saffron Walden at 11.28pm on October 23.

Overnight on October 29, the door of a garage on Meadow Road, Great Chesterford, was forced and damage was caused to the lock, but no entry was gained.

A black Aprilia RS125 motorcycle was stolen from a residential car park near Haslers Lane in Great Dunmow between October 24 and October 26.

Between October 19 and October 26, entry was gained to an outbuilding at Great Dunmow Cricket Club on St Edmunds Lane. It is unknown if anything was stolen in the incident.

Thieves gained entry to four barns located at a school’s premises in Felsted on October 26 between 12.45am and 1.45am. It is unknown what items have been stolen.

A red Manitou forklift, with the registration AO57EGE, was stolen from a barn in Hatfield Broad Oak overnight on October 27.

Vandals caused damage to a Volkswagen Passat in South View, Great Dunmow by keying the offside wing mirror and rear quarter panel between October 26 and October 28.

A KTM motorcycle was stolen from outside a property in The Close, Great Dunmow on October 28.

Four out of six bicycles were stolen from the roof rack of a vehicle on Rosemary Lane, Great Dunmow overnight on October 28. The bikes stolen are described as; a black Merida Scultura 400 road bike valued at £1,800, a red Merida 200 road bike valued at £700, a black specialised Camber Evo 29 mountain bike valued at £1,800, and a green and black Connondale Trail SL4 mountain bike valued at £500.

Vandals caused damage to a black Volkswagen Golf parked in Chapel Street, Stansted overnight on October 28 by kicking the nearside door, snapping off the window screen wiper and causing further damage to the bonnet.

At least 30 bottles of spirits were stolen from the cellar of a property on Monk Street, Thaxted overnight on October 29.
