Items were stolen from a shed in Harrisons, Birchanger, between noon on May 20 and 10.48am on May 23. It is believed the thieves entered via the field at the back of the garden and then broke off the padlock on the wooden shed door.

A handbag, mobile phone and pair of Nike trainers were stolen after a break-in at a house in Godfrey Way, Great Dunmow, between 10pm on May 22 and 6.34am on May 23. The thieves forced the front door in the incident and conducted a search of three rooms in the property.

A burglary took place overnight on May 22 at a house in Gibbons Court, Great Dunmow. Thieves got in through the front door and an iPad was stolen as well as a set of keys.

Between May 20 at 6pm and May 23 at 7.50am, thieves gained entry to a building in Parsonage Lane, Stansted, by cutting a hole in the metal back wall of the building. A messy search was conducted and items were stolen from inside.

Entry was gained to a house in The Downs, Stebbing, between 2pm on May 20 and 6.51pm on May 22. The front door of the property was kicked in, and a tidy search was conducted, but nothing was stolen in the incident.

A garden strimmer was stolen from a shed in Birchanger between midnight on May 20 and 9.30am on May 24. The thieves climbed over the victim’s fence to get access.

Numerous tools were stolen from a white Ford van, parked in Goul Lane, Saffron Walden on May 20 at around 8am. No damage was caused to the vehicle.

A break-in took place at a building in Needham Green Road, The Rodings, between 8.30pm on May 23 and 5.30am on May 24. Thieves jemmied the wooden front door using a crow bar and stole tools and equipment from inside.

The Holy Trinity Church, in Mill Lane, Littlebury, was broken into between May 21 and May 23. Once inside, thieves prized off the padlock to a money box and stole an unknown sum of cash. They also gained entry to the kitchen and stole a toaster worth around £25. Damage was caused to the wooden door of the vestry as an attempt was made to get in. An attempt was made to get back into the church on May 27 at 1.30am but this time no entry was gained.

An attempt was made to get into a property in Laws Close, Saffron Walden, on May 23 at 11.30pm.

A white BMW 330D was stolen from Cage End Close, Hatfield Broad Oak between 7pm on May 26 and 6.30am on May 27.

Entry was a gained to a house in Willow Green, Leaden Roding, via the back door, on May 27 between 6.20pm and 8.10pm. Nothing was stolen in the incident.
