Tools were stolen from a white Ford Transit van in Hatfield Heath between 8pm on July 31 and 8am on August 1.

An attempted burglary took place in Stortford Road, Hatfield Heath, between midnight on July 29 and 9.45pm on July 30. A panel in an external door was smashed, but no entry was gained.

Thieves broke into a blue Landrover Defender, parked in Frambury Lane, Newport, between 8.30pm on July 31 and 7.15am on August 1. Tools were stolen after the padlocks to the hard top were cut.

Tools were stolen from two vans in Ashdon Road, Saffron Walden overnight on July 31. In the first incident, power tools were stolen from a white Ford Transit between 11.30pm and 7am. It is unknown how the thieves got into the vehicle, which was centrally locked. The second incident occurred in a similar timeframe and a white Toyota Hiace was targeted. A hole was caused next to the driver’s door lock and thieves made a selective theft of tools. A red citroen van was also hit in Castle Cross, Saffron Walden, between 1pm on July 31 and 11am on August 1. The back door lock was drilled and suspects attempted to force the drawers on internal toolboxes.

Criminal damage was caused to a Vauxhall Corsa, parked in Catons Lane, between 2.30pm on July 30 and 9.45am on August 1. The rubber seal from around the driver’s window was pulled back, causing a hole.

A shed was broken into on Walden Road, Littlebury, between 9.30pm on July 31 and 2.36pm on August 1. A side panel was kicked in to gain entry, before a pane was stolen and thrown over the shed.

Tools were stolen from a white Ford Transit, parked on High Street, Clavering, between 6pm on August 3 and midday on August 4.

Items were stolen from a house in Willow Road, Great Dunmow, after thieves forced the downstairs lounge window. The incident took place between 7pm on August 2 and 4.50am on August 3.

Two bicycles were stolen from outside the victim’s house at Lukins Drive, Dunmow, where they were leaning against the wall. The theft occurred between 2pm on July 30 and 2pm on August 3.

Items were stolen from a white Ford Transit, parked at Brook View, Stansted, between 8pm on August 3 and 7.45am on August 4.

Pellet holes, believed to be from an air rifle, were found in a Globetrotter touring caravan, parked at Robin Hood Road, Elsenham, between 10am on August 4 and 6.30am on August 5.

Continued damage has been caused to a gauging station in Bigods Lane, Dunmow, over a number months, dating back to October last year. Vandals have spray painted over warning signs and structures and ripped off metal safety grab rails.
