The 19th edition of the journal includes revelations about the Moat Farm Murder - a notorious Clavering case which was uncovered in 1903.

New documents help tell the story of the wicked, philandering Dougal and his life of immorality and crime before the murder took place.

The journal also features a fascinating article about the Woolstaplers Hall (featured on the cover) - which once stood where the Saffron Walden Library is now.

Littlebury historian Lizzie Sanders uses old maps to delve into the story of the early settlement of Brookwalden and Jeremy Collingwood describes how wrongdoers were treated in earlier centuries.
