A housing development in Saffron Walden has been shortlisted for an architecture award.
The Avenue, by Pollard Thomas Edwards, is one of 25 projects is East Anglia to be put forward for the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) Regional Awards.
It is one of five from Essex to be shortlisted, with Grayson Perry’s House for Essex in Wrabness, Brentwood School’s Learning Resource Centre, Derry Avenue in South Ockendon and the Albert Sloman Library at Essex University.
Judging will take place this month, with the winner announced at a ceremony in Cambridge on April 14. The winning design will go on to the national award finals.
