A 24-year-old man from Saffron Walden was arrested on suspicion of possession of drugs after police were called to an illegal rave in Stebbing on Sunday (July 17).
An operational support group with dogs, Stansted Airport and Essex officers, as well as a police helicopter, attended a wooded area off Dunmow Road at around 8.10am and found between 30 and 40 people.
The ravers turned the music off voluntarily, removed rubbish from the site and all had left the scene by 12.10pm.
Two men, aged 23, from Luton were arrested and given a caution for possession of drugs and the Saffron Walden man was bailed until September 26, pending further enquiries.
