POLICE are appealing for witnesses following a road collision near Saffron Walden in which a motorcyclist was seriously injured.
The collision happened at 9.20am on Thursday (September 1) at Thaxted Road, Wimbish, and involved a grey Triumph motorcycle and a silver Mini Cooper.
The rider, a 58-year-old man from Cambridge, was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital with serious leg injuries. A police spokesman said that the man’s condition was “serious but stable”.
Any witnesses or anyone with information about events leading to the collision should contact Pc Andy Sumner at Dunmow Road Policing unit on 101.
