SAFFRON WALDEN MP Sir Alan Haslehurst turned out to help raise cash for the town's hospital at its annual Autumn Fair.
Run by the League of Friends of Saffron Walden Community Hospital, in Radwinter Road, on Saturday, the event raised a creditable �345.
Secretary Dorothy Bartlett said: "We were very pleased to raise so much money, especially in this economic climate. We wish to thank everyone who supported us.
