Saffron Walden police hunt for man after he grabbed teenage girl
POLICE are appealing for information after a teenage girl was grabbed by man in Saffron Walden.
The teenager was approached by the man in Station Street, at about 6.50pm on Tuesday (June 11). He shouted at her before grabbing her by the wrist.
The victim pulled away and ran off. The girl, who is from Saffron Walden, was uninjured but left shaken by the incident.
Inspector Colin Cox, from Saffron Walden police station, said: “At this stage is in unclear what the mans’ intentions were, however Essex Police and local officers are actively seeking to identify the man involved and would encourage anyone with information to come forward.
“I also want to reassure residents that all enquiries are being carried out as a priority. “

The man is white, aged 21 to 40 and 6ft tall. He wore a waist-length dark coat and blue jeans, had a long skinny face and a pale complexion.
