CHILDREN at Friends’ Junior School Nursery are celebrating the onset of spring with the arrival of their very own chicks.

Using their special 21-day count down chart the children kept watch over the eggs in the special incubator until they began to hatch. All 11 chicks hatched last week to the delight of the children.

Nursery co-ordinator Tiffany Johnson said: “The children really enjoyed taking care of the eggs and following the chart for the 21days they spent in the incubator.

“They are delighted with the chicks and are having a wonderful time seeing life start from its very beginning.”
