RESIDENTS who wish to speak at the development control committee meeting to decide the Sainsbury’s and Tesco applications must register with Uttlesford District Council.
The council is expecting a high level of interest in the meeting on Tuesday November 23 so requires anyone who wishes to speak to fill in an online form to register their interest. The form can be found on the council website uttlesford.gov.uk
People without access to the internet should ring Maggie Cox, Democratic Services Officer, on 01799 510369.
A council spokesman said: “If we receive a large number of requests then it may not be possible for all those wishing to speak to do so. However, we will of course do our best to accommodate everyone. People will be notified prior to the meeting whether their application to speak has been successful.”
