Representatives from Saffron Walden Tourist Information and the Town Team attended a national travel and tourism show two weeks ago to promote the town.
Mark Starte, of the tourist information centre and John Oliver, from the Town Team, took part in the Excursions Travel Show at Alexandra Palace, London on Saturday, January 23.
The pair spent the day engaging with travel operators in a bid to promote and market Saffron Walden as a key destination for day trippers who regularly visit Audley End House.
Mr Starte said: “I would estimate that we chatted to around 30 to 40 different operators, as well as members of the public, about Saffron Walden.
“I am very grateful to the Town Team and the town council for funding the cost of the stand, and to John Oliver for his invaluable help during the day.”
