Sixth formers in Saffron Walden had a last night of fun before getting down to hard work for exams.

More than 400 students in Years 12 and 13 headed to Parklands, Quendon Hall, on Friday night (April 15) for the enchanted garden-themed Sixth Form Ball.

Kirsty Holden, one of the organisers, said: “The event was run by Year 12s in the Sixth Form Committee to fall in place on the last day of the A-level mock exams. It was a chance for students to let their hair down before they concentrate on their summer exams.

“It was lovely to see the students dress up and everyone has a great time.”
