Members of Saffron Seals Swimming Club helped shoppers pack their groceries at the town’s Tesco store on Saturday (May, 14) as a fundraiser for the club.

The helpers raised more than £400, and the money will go towards replacing old equipment at the club.

Jan Bright, of Saffron Seals, said: “The club would like to thank all those who helped us raise this terrific amount, Susie Diggons of Tesco for arranging it, and Andrew and Helen Upton for organising the parent and swimmer volunteers.”
