SAFFRON WALDEN: Talented teenage violinist to peform with The Uttlesforde Orchestra

A TALENTED 14-year-old violinist will be performing with The Uttlesforde Orchestra at Saffron Walden Town Hall next Saturday (March 27).
Winner of Harlow Young Musician of the Year, Leonid Plashinov-Johnston, will be performing Bruch's Violin Concerto with the orchestra.
Leonid's talent was spotted early on by his former teacher, Ysobel Latham, who also leads the orchestra. She said: "Leo is a very sensitive and accomplished player and I am absolutely delighted that he is performing with us."
Bruch's violin concerto is one of the most popular works in the violin repertoire. The orchestra will also be playing Brahms' Fourth Symphony and Rossini's overture to the Barber of Seville.

The concert will take place at 7.30pm. Tickets for the concert are priced at �9 for adults, �7 for concessions and �2 for children. They are available from Saffron Walden Tourist Information Centre (01799 524002) or on the door.
