THE date when the planning applications submitted by Tesco and Sainsbury's will be considered by Uttlesford District Council has been put back by at least a month.
The supermarkets' proposals were due to be considered by the development control committee on March 10.
A council spokesman said: "The Tesco and Sainsbury's applications will be dealt with at a special meeting at a date yet to be arranged. Currently the council does not have all the information needed to be able to make an informed decision on these.
