Saffron Walden Tourist Information Centre will now be acting as a collection point for used stamps in aid of the St Clare Hospice charity.
TIC manager Rachel Thomas said: “We have long been in the habit of saving used stamps “just in case”, and have recently met a new TIC customer who collects them in aid of the hospice.
“All stamps are welcome; they don’t need to be exotic! However, they do need to be complete, and with a 1cm margin of envelope still around them.”
