Wannabe rock stars joined ex-Iron Maiden guitar hero Dennis Stratton on stage at a concert.
The youngsters from LiveWire Rock Academy rocked out to tunes by Arctic Monkeys, ACDC, The Jam and Black Sabbath at Saffron Walden Town Hall last Tuesday (January 29).
All profits for the gig went to local charities.
LiveWire Rock Academy opened last month and is based in Saffron Walden and Bishop’s Stortford. Members meet on Monday evenings at The Friends Meeting House on the High Street, teaching electric guitar, drums, bass and keyboards. Stratton, pictured on stage with the children, is a strong supporter.
Every lesson ends with a 15-minute jam session with all pupils joining in well-known rock and pop songs.
Budding young musicians are invited to attend a free taster lesson. Call 07941 670575 or visit livewirerockacademy.co.uk
