WIMBLEDON may have come and gone, but the children of St Thomas More Primary School showed their sporting prowess during a special Tennis Day.
The event was organised by Mike's Tennis Academy and during the day each class was given coaching lessons by academy director Mike Lipschitz.
Headteacher Mary-Jo Hall said: "Through the course of this school year the school has tried to interest the children in different sports in order to encourage them to be more active. The children thoroughly enjoyed the Tennis Day."
The school has also tried judo and fencing lessons.
