Saffron Walden youngsters urged to carve a pumpkin this half term for chance to win Hallowe’en prize

Hallowe’en is almost upon us and to get children into the spirit, the Saffron Walden Reporter is challenging youngsters to get creative with pumpkins.

We’re looking for the best carved pumpkins in Uttlesford so get out your carving sets to stand with a chance of winning a special prize.

The Reporter has teamed up with Waitrose to offer the winner a Hallowe’en-themed goodie bag filled with sweets amongst other treats.

To enter, all you have to do is take a picture of yourself with your pumpkin and post it on the Saffron Walden Reporter Facebook page, tweet us your pictures to @swreporter24 or email by October 31.

Keep an eye out on our Facebook and Twitter pages as we will be sharing all the entries. The winner will be the most liked and favourited picture so you can vote for your favourite too.
