Hundreds of parents and children lined up outside a blizzard-blown RA Butler last Friday afternoon for a chance to see Father Christmas and his helpful elves.
The snow machine was not the only festive effect in place, as pupils were able to enter a tinsel-lined grotto with life-size polar bears and a very merry Father Christmas.
The school hall was also filled with other treats, with children able to literally put the icing on the cake with a range of decoration activities, as well as a game to guess the weight of a very special Disney Frozen cake.
The annual Christmas fair – organised by Friends of RA Butler - coincided with the school’s Christmas Jumper day, where they raised at least £300 for Save The Children with Make the World Better With a Sweater.
