DANCE, music, ICT and art were among the workshops enjoyed by more than 200 pupils who took part in the Uttlesford Primary Arts Festival.
The Year Six schoolchildren from Ashdon, Chrishall, Dame Bradbury's, Great Chesterford, Katherine Semar, RA Butler and St Thomas More primary schools were offered creative workshops, all based on the painting, 'The Ambassadors', by Hans Holbein.
Dame Bradbury's headteacher Jane Crouch, who helped organize the festival, said: "I have been so impressed by how well children from different schools have worked together. The key aim of the festival is to allow children to meet and get to know each other.
"It is also so valuable to be able to spend time focusing on creative activities for a whole day. They have all had a very enjoyable time.
