Scout fellowship

The fellowship held its annual Family Camp at Skreen s Park near Chelmsford. They undertook various activities including shooting, archery, pioneering, scout crafts, abseiling, canoeing and go-karting. A traditional camp fire and a hog roast were enjoyed.

The fellowship held its annual Family Camp at Skreen's Park near Chelmsford. They undertook various activities including shooting, archery, pioneering, scout crafts, abseiling, canoeing and go-karting. A traditional camp fire and a hog roast were enjoyed.

Mark Penfold of Fifth Saffron Walden (training), Explorer leader Laura Bunting (training), Sue Cameron of Newport Cubs (10 years service) and Steve Willis, group scout leader of First Saffron Walden (25 years service) were presented with awards. Despite treacherous setting up weather, glorious sunshine accompanied the majority of the weekend to ensure a very enjoyable camp.
