Six garages in Saffron Walden were broken into between 8am on Wednesday, December 9 and 8am on Thursday, December 10.
Groceries, non-alcoholic drinks, cleaning products and a glass were stolen from a garage in Loompits Way and tools and petrol were taken from another in Rowntree Way. Items were also stolen from another garage in Loompits Way.
One garage off Debden Road, another in Rowntree Way, and one in London Road were also entered but nothing was stolen.
Anyone with any information is asked to call police on 101.
