Sixth form college students in Saffron Walden have showcased projects which will give a boost to their academic careers.
About 30 Year 13 students at the County High displayed their Extended Project Qualification work at an exhibition on January 18 to present their hard graft.
The projects see students work on one of their interests, research the subject and write an essay on it.
A school spokesman said: “Not only does this project encourage independent research into new subject areas, it also encourages individuals to identify flaws in their learning, assess their performance and ultimately improve this ahead of prospects such as University or further research in the coming years.”
