PROFESSIONAL musicians will be performing at a series of concerts that make up Linton Music Society's new season programme.

The first concert in the series is taking place this Saturday at Linton Village College, when teenage pianist Mitra Alice Tham will play works by Bach, Grieg, Prokofiev, Kreisler and Schumann.

Tickets for the 7.30pm performance are available on the door or in advance from Sweet Talk News on Linton High Street.

Tickets are £9, £2 for students, and £20 for a family ticket admitting two adults and two children.

Virtuosic guitarist Morgan Szymanski, cellist John Myerscough, the New Cambridge Singers, the Linden Trio and the Prime Brass will also be appearing during the season.
