A SPECIALIST mammography unit on wheels will be taking up its new home for the next three months at Tesco car park in Radwinter Road, Saffron Walden, on Monday (March 22).

Janet Skeys, from Epping Breast Unit which runs the service, said: "Women aged between 50 and 70 years of age in the Saffron Walden area will soon be getting their invite for a routine mammography scan.

"We urge them all to take up the invitation and to come along to the mobile unit for a breast check-up.

"We have had a mobile working in Loughton for the past six months and it's been very busy.

"We would like to thank Epping Forest District Council and the Loughton Leisure Centre management team for being our hosts during this time. And we would ask any local women who missed out on their routine scan to give us a call on 01279 827046 if they still want one."

The mobile unit is coming to Dunmow in November.
