Firefighters have rescued a horse which was trapped in a pond in Stansted this morning.
An animal rescue unit was called to the Stansted Park Equestrian Centre on Church Road, where the animal was stuck in thick mud.
Firefighters used lines to keep the horse’s head above the mud, and released the animal shortly before 2pm.
