The patient was kept in isolation at Broomfield Hospital, Chelmsford, while tests were carried out.

The results were returned negative and the woman has now been discharged.

Elsewhere in England, three people, one of them a girl of 12 from Devon, have tested positive in addition to two confirmed cases in Scotland.
