A TEDDY bears’ picnic and a sponsored walk in aid of St Clare Hospice is being held in Saffron Walden next month – led by the charity’s own mascot, Clare the Bear.
The ‘Follow the Bear’ event for toddlers takes place at 11am on Tuesday (June 11) around the Jubilee Gardens. The £5 entry includes a packed picnic and goody bag and youngsters – and their grown-up guardians! – are encouraged to bring along their own teddy bear.
