Teenagers trapped in muddy ditch on outskirts of Uttlesford village

Firefighters rescued four teenagers trapped in a muddy ditch near Ashdon on Saturday night (April 25).

Two crews from Saffron Walden were send to Radwinter Road at 8.46pm after the teenagers, aged between 13 and 15, got themselves trapped in the ditch at the back of a property.

Firefighters used rescue lines to pull the teenagers out by 9.26pm.
