Two teenagers were attacked by a group of men after a car crash in Saffron Walden.
A Volkswagen Polo containing four people was travelling close to a roundabout in Little Walden Road at around 11pm on Wednesday, September 20, when a silver Ford reversed into them.
As the Volkswagen reversed, one its tyres blew.
Then a group of men came over and kicked and punched the vehicle, causing damage to the body work.
The group then pulled the driver and front seat passenger – aged 17 and 16 – out of the vehicle and assaulted them.
One victim suffered a cut to his head while the other was punched in the face.
Essex Police is now appealing for information about the incident.
