Three arrested after police drugs raid on Saffron Walden address

Three people have been arrested after a drugs warrant was executed in Saffron Walden at the weekend.

Essex Police said officers recovered a “serious” amount of drugs and cash from an address in Byrds Farm Lane on Saturday (December 3).

A teenager, aged 16, and a 19-year-old man were arrested on suspicion of possession with the intent to supply drugs.

An 18-year-old man was also arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply drugs, possession of Class A drugs, and assaulting a police officer.

All three were taken to Harlow Police Station for questioning, and have been released on police bail pending further enquiries until April 4, 2017.
