THIS weekend sees the fourth annual Bartlow Three Counties Walk, offering a chance to enjoy the great outdoors while raising money for worthy causes.

Walkers are offered a two-mile nature trail, a wheelchair-friendly option, an eight-mile route, and a 13-mile path that takes you to the point where Cambridgeshire, Essex and Suffolk meet.

Organisers hope the event will raise £8000 for the Lewin Stroke Unit at Addenbrooke's Hospital and the restoration fund for Bartlow's Norman church.

Entry is £10 per adult or £20 family sponsorship.

Registration takes place at the paddock off Ashdon Road, Bartlow, at 9.30am for the longer routes, 10.30am for the nature trail and 11am for the wheelchair route. Call 01223 894979 for more details.
