Three people were trapped after a head-on car crash near Saffron Walden last night (Sunday).
Emergency services were to Thaxted Road, Wimbish, just before 8.30pm after two cars were involved in a crash.
The East of England Ambulance Service sent a rapid response vehicle, two ambulances, the Herts Air Ambulance via their car and the Hazardous Area Response Team to the scene.
A man was treated for a pelvic injury which was described as fairly serious but not life-threatening, another man sustained hand injuries and a female suffered chest pains.
All three were taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital, in Cambridge, for further treatment.
Firefighters from Saffron Walden freed all three by 9.55pm.
