DRIVERS face delays in Saffron Walden’s High Street this Sunday (October 3) as “essential” road resurfacing work takes place.
Between 8am and 4pm contractors will be improving the road but some delays may occur – there will however be no diversions in place.
A spokesman for Essex County Council said: “The council is pleased to be carrying out essential repairs to the road fronting.
“Whilst the work is in progress, warning signs will be in place and traffic lights may also be used.”
The work is scheduled to be completely finished in one day.
