TWO drivers had to be cut from their vehicles following a crash on the M11 this morning (Mar 22).
Fire crews from Newport, Saffron Walden, Harlow RT, USAR and Stansted were called to the scene between junctions eight and nine where two HGVs had collided.
Firefighters worked with ambulance crews to release the man using supports to stabalise the truck and hydraulic cutting equipment to release the man.
Urban Search and Rescue crews then winched the man from the embankment to waiting ambulance crews.
The man had been released by 7am and was left in the care of the ambulance service.
