Two men arrested in Saffron Walden for drug offences

Police have arrested two men on suspicion of possession with intent to supply drugs and taking a car without consent after stopping a vehicle in Saffron Walden.

Officers acted upon intelligence at around 10.10pm on Saturday, August 11, and stopped a car in Elizabeth Way.

While searching the car they found wraps containing class A drugs and a large quantity of cash under the car mats.

Officers arrested a 24-year-old man from Saffron Walden and a 21-year-old man from Chingford and they have since been released under investigation.
