TWO men were hospitalised following a crash between a car and a lorry on the M11 near Saffron Walden yesterday afternoon (Wednesday).
Amublance, police and fire crews were called to the collision on the northbound carriageway between junctions 8-9 at around 4.50pm.
Firefighters from Saffron Walden, Newport and Stansted freed two men trapped in the car using cutting equipment.
Both were treated, stabilised and immobilised by East of England ambulance crews from Cambridge and Saffron Walden before being taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital for further care.
