Two rushed to hospital after M11 smash

TWO people have been hospitalised after a collision on the M11 near Saffron Walden this morning (August 26).

The East of England Ambulance Service was called to the Hinxton slip road coming off of the northbound carriageway, after a report of a van rolling over just after 7.40am.

Ambulance crews assessed and treated the casualties before taking one person to Papworth Hospital, Harlow and another person to Addenbrookes Hospital.

Age, gender and injuries are not known at this time. For further information please contact the police.
