Two vehicles were involved in a head-on crash in Saffron Walden High Street last night.
The incident took place at around 6.30pm next to the war memorial and the East of the England Ambulance Service sent one ambulance, while an off-duty paramedic was also at the scene.
No-one was taken to hospital following the incident.
