TWO people killed in a crash on Sunday lunchtime have been identified by police
TWO people killed in a crash on Sunday lunchtime have been identified by police as a grandfather and grandson from Essex.
Sixty-six-year-old Michael James Kidd and his 13-year-old grandson Joshua Bysouth were both pronounced dead at the scene of the accident on the A1307 near Horseheath.
Both lived at Stanleys Farm Road in Saffron Walden.
They had been cut free from their Hyundai Getz car but had suffered fatal injuries.
A third person involved in the crash, the 47-year-old male driver of an Audi A3, is in a serious but stable condition in hospital.
Inspector Kate Scott, of Cambridgeshire police, appealed for any witnesses to the crash at the Bartlow and Balsham junction to get in touch with accident investigation officers.
