POLICE have named the woman killed following a collision in Braintree last night.
The woman was Nimmi Shah, 38, of Beadon Drive in Braintree.
She was struck by a red Renault Clio at the bottom of the on-slip to the eastbound carriageway of the A120 near London Road shortly after 7.30pm last night (Feb 15). The 21-year-old male driver of the car, who also lives locally, was uninjured.
A section of the road was closed for three hours while forensic collision investigators carried out enquiries to establish the cause of the crash.
