Much-needed refurbishment of the Buffy Bus will begin today (Monday, February 10), meaning the bus will be out of action for two weeks.
Organisers have decided to bring forward refurbishment works to some of the interior and exterior of the much-loved playbus, which provides early years activities for pre-school children and their carers in 15 communities across Uttlesford.
Project manager Rosie Juhl said the works were desperately needed, particularly to fix the leaking roof, adding: “When the bus returns it will be lovely and bright for people to enjoy.”
The bus will be back in action from February 25.
